In the lead-up to Christmas I will be sharing a seven-day journey into Conditional Expression, a philosophy which represents the contemporary instruction and word of God, and his revelation.

It is life telling us what it needs, so it can feel well.

Historically, Christmas is a time when Christians around the world celebrate the birth of Jesus - the time he came into the world. It is also a festival many non-christians celebrate and this is worth mentioning as Jesus was not Christian. Nor was he Catholic.

What he did was teach and live a certain way of life. And he did this so his life would honour all life, and care for its needs. By doing this - and this is the only way - he made all life sacred.

He kept the first and most important commandment - he honoured God. Which is, to honour life.

In fact, it would not have mattered what he taught. What was important for him, and even more important for life itself, was that he lived a certain way. Words do not make our world feel better. It experiences the things we do. No lesson Jesus ever taught can have any power unless given the substance of action.

Jesus knew this and wanted to make sure his own personal expression did not inflict any unnecessary harm on the world he belonged to.

A life of conditional expression is what Jesus lived. It is this life that makes unconditional love real. If this man taught anything it was that we must put conditions on our expression and demands if we are to preserve and honour the health of all life.

This practical philosophy also represents the wishes of God and life itself. It is they who request our conditional expression. It is life that needs our support so it can thrive and have its needs met. Life wants us to exercise a freedom not one human being has been denied, a freedom humanity has collectively rejected since the beginning of time - the freedom not to be abusive towards life.

The freedom not to value economics over keeping our world sacred.

And the freedom not to live a life that is individually excessive in the demands it places on the earth.

Who would be so bold to deny such a request?

So, on Christmas Day 2020, we are not only celebrating the birth and life of Jesus, we will be celebrating the birth of Christ-consciousness in action, or more specifically, and as God demands, the birth of conditional expression.

No longer is it appropriate to prioritise our individual needs over those of life itself. In truth, it never was.

In the words of God himself...

'Do not speak of unconditional love. For words are empty and of no benefit to me.

Rather, live with conditional expression. For this is the only way your life can truly honour me as sacred and be of genuine benefit to my health.'

I should add, conditional expression, like Jesus, is not Christian. And although it represents God's wishes and speaks of God, it is restricted by no label and takes humanity beyond any lens.

Truth be told, it simultaneously robs religions of their power and atheism of its relevance.

Religions, such as Christianity, and pathways such as yoga have done much to damage the dignity, image and reputation of God and his getting these things back must be at their expense.

But I am sure if it is God and life that Christians truly serve, then they will be very accepting and supportive of this.

So today, Day 1, takes the form of a short video explaining why conditional expression is the answer to our world's problems and the only way life will ever experience peace, balance and harmony.

If we fail to put conditions on our expression and demands, life will continue to suffer.

And it is not interested in suffering continued abuse at the hands of the high-income world much longer.

Now, more than ever before, God and life are giving each of us an ultimatum.

'If you love us, prove it!'

'We are not listening to your bs anymore!'

Amen...and so it is!
